Also, please be informed that we can terminate your relationship with us if we believe that you have violated any of these terms. We may, at any time, modify/ amend the terms of our relationship which will be made available on the platform when the need arises.

Account Registration

When you register for an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about yourself, and to keep your account information up-to-date. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account and under no circumstances will Saleko be held liable in this regard.

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are prohibited from using the Platform in any way that could damage or interfere with the operation of the Platform or the services offered on the Platform. You also agree not to engage in any activities that could harm the reputation of the Platform or our users.

User Content

The Platform may allow you to upload or submit content, such as product listings, reviews, or other materials (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that you have the right to do so and that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights. You also grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display your User Content in any media format and through any media channels.

Transactions

The Platform may allow you to upload or submit content, such as product listings, reviews, or other materials (“User Content”). Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind. we make no representations or warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non infringement.

Limitation of Liability

Saleko shall not be held liable for any damages or losses, whether direct or indirect, that arise from the use of our ecommerce marketplace platform. This includes damages caused by the actions or inactions of both sellers or buyers on our platform.

Saleko provides a platform for sellers to offer their products for sale and for buyers to purchase those products. We do not control or guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of the products sold by sellers on our platform, nor do we control or guarantee the actions or inactions of buyers who use our platform.

In no event shall Saleko be liable for any damages arising from the use of our platform, including but not limited to damages for lost profits, lost data, or any other consequential or incidental damages. Our liability for any claim related to the use of our platform, including but not limited to any claims relating to product liability, shall be limited to the amount paid by the buyer to the seller for the product in question.

Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of:

• Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act 2015.
• Consumer Protection Council (CPC) Act 1992.
• Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2019.
• Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020.
• Value Added Tax (VAT) Act 2004.
• Nigerian Postal Service Act 1992.

Saleko is an online platform that allows merchants to sell their products to customers. We do not claim ownership of any of the trademarked goods or products sold by our merchants. We act as a marketplace and provide a platform for merchants to sell their products. The responsibility for ensuring that the goods or products sold on our platform do not infringe on any trademarks or intellectual property rights rests solely with the merchants. We take intellectual property rights very seriously and have policies in place to ensure that merchants comply with relevant laws and regulations.
